Prof. Dr. Kamil ÇOLAK
Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak, who was born in Giresun/Görele, was graduated from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of History in 1994, and started to study as a research assistant in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of History in the same year. Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak has completed his MA in 1996, his PhD in 2000 in Hacettepe University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of History. In 2001, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in Modern History in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of History. He has studied as a lecturer in Deutsch-Türkisches Sprach und Kulturinstitut in Essen, Germany between 2002-2003 through the Ministry of National Education, and he has been as a Visiting Schoolar in University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies for 3 months in 2012. Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak has became Associate Professor in 2012 and he was appointed as a Professor in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of History in 2018.
Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak has served as Associate Professor Representative of the Faculty Administrative Board between 2013-2016 and Associate Professor Representative of the Faculty Board in the same years. He has taken part in the establishment of Eskişehir Osmangazi University International Relation Office and contributed to getting the Erasmus University Charter. He has been the member of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Social Sciences Ethics Committee between 20.02.2018 and 16.07.2018. He has pioneered the establishment of the Balkan Researches Application and Research Center. Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak, who has served as the Rector Consultant between 24.05.2018 and 16.07.2018; appointed as Acting Rector on 03.06.2022 and as Rector on 08.07.2022.
Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak has a book, a book chapter, articles published in national and international journals, papers presented and published in national and international symposiums, and these studies has been cited so many times.
Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak is married and has two children.
